St. Paul Skyway #6

Skyway #6 is located just a couple blocks closer to downtown from where we started off not so long ago, Skyway #1. It spans Wabasha between 7th St. and the pedestrian-only 7th Pl. — a lovely little stretch that houses an off-day Farmer’s Market in the summer (the main Downtown Farmer’s Market is open only on weekends), as well as a number of restaurants, shops, and a few music and theater venues. Skyway #6 connects Wells Fargo Place with the Children’s Museum. Although the above drawing doesn’t do the best job of capturing them, Skyway #6 always features some wonderful interior lights:

The lights resemble whimsical children’s airplane/flying machine toys, with bright colors and simple, fun, geometric design. And, like Skyway #3, you will often find kids running through #6, though it’s a much shorter distance to cover.
